Now here is a smartphone for the style conscious consumer. Sony's P1i has all the standard features that give smartphones their ability to easily communicate messages. The QWERTY keyboard isn’t full size, but is compacted to save room and reduce weight. The bright 2.6-inch screen is completely touch compatible which lets you get to the applications you need to use more efficiently.

The design of the P1i is incredibly sleek with a black and silver color scheme that is broken up just slightly at the number keys with hints of red. The phone is 17mm wide which means that it can easily slip into your coat pocket without being obtrusive. The size is just right and fits properly in the palm of your hand. The weight is evenly distributed throughout, which makes for an easy to handle phone.

The features in the phone are selected to make dealing with multimedia an easy process.  The 3.2 Megapixel camera ensures that the pictures you take with the P1i are super sharp and contain all the details you see in real life. The memory stick which utilizes micro M2 technology lets you store data beyond what the phone is capable of handling.

While some business smartphones use Windows Mobile to handle all their applications, the P1 strikes it out by itself to use an open ended operating system called Symbian 9.1. Only the most powerful smartphones utilize Symbian which is the leading operating system for phones that know business.

The P1i has all the typical features that a next-generation cell phone should include in their system such as wi-fi connectivity, stereo bluetooth, and USB connectivity.
