by the manufacturer for the period of one year from the date of
purchase. The manufacturer warranty covers repair or replacement of
OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or Unlocked phones may carry
international warranty. In such
cases you need to contact the manufacturer overseas to get the product
repaired or exchanged.

This warranty will not apply if the type or serial numbers
on the Product has been altered, deleted, duplicated, removed, or made
illegible. Manufacturer reserves the right to refuse free-of-charge warranty
service if the requested documentation can not be presented or if the
information is incomplete, illegible or incompatible with the factory records.
Repair, at manufacturer option, may include re-flashing of
software, the replacement of parts or boards with functionally equivalent,
reconditioned or new parts or boards. Replaced parts, accessories, batteries, or
boards are warranted for the balance of the original warranty time period. The
Warranty Term will not be extended. Manufacturer does not warrant the
installation, maintenance or service of the products, accessories, batteries or
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?
This warranty is not valid if the defects are due to damage,
misuse, tampering, and neglect or lack of care and in case of alterations or
repair carried out by unauthorized persons.
The following are examples of defects or damage not covered by this product
- 1. Defects or damage resulting from use of the Product
in other than its normal and customary manner.
- 2. Defects or damage from misuse, access to incompatible
sources, accident or neglect.
- 3. Defects or damage from improper testing, operation,
maintenance, installation, adjustment, unauthorized software applications or any
alteration or modification of any kind.
- 4. Breakage or damage to antennas unless caused directly
by defects in material or workmanship.
- 5. Products disassembled or repaired other than by
Motorola in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate
inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim.
- 6. Defects or damage due to range, coverage,
availability, grade of service, or operation of the cellular system by the

Please make and retain a note of all data you have inserted
into your Product (for example names, addresses, phone numbers, user and access
codes, notes etc.) before submitting your Product for a Warranty service as such
data may be deleted or erased as part of the repair or service process.
Please note if you have downloaded material onto your
Product (for example ring tones, ring tunes, screensavers, wallpaper, games
etc.) these may be also deleted or erased as part of the repair or testing
process. keepontalking shall not be responsible for such matters. The repair or
testing process should not affect any such material that was installed by
keepontalking on your Product as a standard feature.
As an international warranty process could be tedious
therefore a customer can send the product under warranty repair to keepontalking to
facilitate the warranty repair. keepontalking will facilitate the warranty process for
the customer for the cost of $60 which includes cost of shipping the product
overseas, cost of shipping back the product from overseas and the cost to ship
it back to the customer in US. All additional repair charges if any are sole
responsibility of the customer. keepontalking is only facilitating the complete
warranty process and it cannot be held responsible for non repaired products by
3. OUT OF WARRANTY:
After 14 days return period if the phone is considered to be
out of warranty and the phone does not meet the conditions above, or customer is
not willing to wait as the warranty process which could take about 6 weeks.
Customer may choose not to go with the warranty process and can get the product
repaired through out of warranty process in order to get the product repaired
As these products carry international warranty, some customers hesitate to send
their product OVERSEAS and do not want to wait for five to six weeks while the
phone is repaired. While on the other hand, keepontalking offers a Repair Program at
customer’s expense. Cost of repairing the product will be quoted once we have
diagnosed the problem. Repair is guaranteed for 90 days against defects in
materials and workmanship. Customer will also responsible for the shipping
charges which might incur while shipping the phone to keepontalking and shipping it
back to the customer.
4. Standard Repair:
For those who qualify for the manufacturer warranty but are
reluctant to send their phone overseas and want to avoid the prolonged warranty
process, can send the phone to keepontalking. keepontalking Repair Centre will notify the
customer of the repair charges prior to any repairs will only charge after
- Customer is responsible for freight costs both ways
(inbound/outbound) for warranty and non-warranty repairs.
- keepontalking is not liable for damages incurred during
shipment hence we recommend customers to insure their packages.
- The in-house turn around target is fifteen working
days. Some units may exceed this turn around time due to the lack of
availability of parts needed. Customer Service will contact you if the
repair extends beyond the standard turnaround. The repair does not extend
the warranty beyond the original warranty period.
